Pre-selecting Queues (User Invites/Pending Invitations)

Pre-selecting the Queue for Invited Users can happen upon team member invite, or when the invitation is still pending, so users will automatically have the access they need upon creating their account.

*This will alleviate having to come in after the account creation of the invited user and adding them to the queue.

Note: Queues must be enabled for your team AND you must already have Queues created to pre-select.

Pre-selecting a Queue when sending a User Invite for your team.

First, Select “Invite a Member” on your My Team page.

Next, go through the invite process from the top down: Add the user email(s) and select permissions. (Admin/Owner Permissions are optional). Once you get to the “Pre Select Queue” field, you can type the name of a queue you want to add the user to. (A list of the available queues will be shown to select.) Note: You CAN select more than one Queue.

Once you have the user Email(s) added, the permissions selected, and the Queues selected you can then click “Invite” and the invite will be sent to the users email.

When the users account is created on their end they will automatically have the proper permissions and be automatically added to the selected queues.


Pre-selecting a Queue for a Pending Invitation.

Maybe you forgot to add an invited user to a Queue when sending the invite, or maybe you added a new Queue that a Pending user will need to be in. Either way, you can also pre-select a Queue for an invite that is still in “Pending Invitations”.

First, when looking at the Pending Invitations on your My Team page, you will see a button to the right of the invites that says; “Pre-select Queue”. Click the button.

Once clicked, a “Pre-select Queue” dialogue box will open, in the field, you can begin typing the queue name and just as with the Invite pre-select a list of available Queues will show to select from. Note: You CAN select more than one Queue.

Once you have made your selections you can click “Submit”.

When the users account is created on their end they will automatically be added to the selected queues.
