Terminate Request (PUSH)

Its your duty to safeguard your customers information…

In the FAX world, when you “fat finger” the wrong number and send…You can not get that document back and therefore you created a HIPAA violation or data loss breach depending on your vertical.

Terminate button was created for this reason and when you terminate a request BEFORE the recipient downloads any documents, there is no violation because the link becomes disabled immediately (see last picture below) and you now have a date and time stamp on timeline showing it was terminated with no download taking place.

On the Left of your dashboard you will see the main navigation toolbar. Click on My Requests (PUSH) to view Pull details page.

This details page will give you a full view of all requests sorted by most recent at top. Click VIEW to see details

“ACTIVE” status mean that you are within the 14 day window to view, resend or terminate this request. Requests are set to expire in 14 days.

  • Terminate - you can terminate and disable any link to a recipient. Note: This is used if you have sent a request to the wrong mobile or email. Once terminated, the recipient will still receive the link you sent, however, the link will be disabled and the users virtual business card will be displayed. No files will be available for download.

Recipients View:

Once Terminated status becomes expired and you no longer have the option to Resend link to recipient.

This details page will never be removed or erased so you can view metadata only (for audit purposes).
