Force 2-Step Authentication on Pushes

Force 2-Step Authentication on Pushes

This is an Enterprise feature, contact sales@botdoc.io for more details.

This feature allows a Team Owner to set and lock 2-step authentication for recipients to open the files inside a Push (Send).

If you are an Enterprise Customer, this setting can be found in the form of a checkbox on your My Team page in the area marked “Edit Your Team Configuration”, then navigate to the setting “Force 2 Step Auth on Pushes (set 2FA always ON by default)” and click the checkbox. (Shown below)

Click the “Save Team Configuration” button to commit the changes.

When enabled, the “2 Step Auth to Open the file(s)” option for the Push on your dashboard will be checked and locked meaning all Push recipients must authenticate to open the attached files.

Note: If the Push is sent to another Botdoc user, they will be able to access it without 2-step authentication via Direct Requests on their dashboard (If opened via email, the 2-step requirement still stands).
